There was a lot of damage on the part of Galveston Island we visited with Scott and Paige. This was not even the parts that really got wiped out. It was getting dark so we didn't take a lot of pictures. There were still piles of wood and debris heaped up on curbs.

I'm still curious how they will get that truck off that pier.
That's some mighty fine damage. Looks like a lovely day for a walk on the pier though.
That does look bad. Lots of clean up work to do.
