Uninspired Progressive Ideas

These mind-blowing facts were on the radio today: 1/3 of black males born today will end up in prison. 75% of all black children are born out of wedlock. This very tragic state of affairs finds it's genesis in the progressive programs of the most despicable of human beings, President Lyndon Johnson. The result was Black women having children without benefit of marriage.

For government handouts blacks abandoned the party founded by Abe Lincoln, the Republican party, in droves just as LBJ predicted. His foul quote about buying their votes is unprintable here. Blacks continue to support progressive programs that make people slaves to the government and destroy generations of what were supposed to have been intact families. I just don't get it. LBJ was one of the most amoral and disgusting individuals I've ever read about. The ideas he thought up are proof to me that liberal/progressive programs do not come from enlightened inspired minds. Even the most generous biographies contain enough stories about him to convince anyone that he did not have an ounce of the Light of Christ left in him. So naturally he would come up with ideas that destroy families. That is what the progressive movement is all about among other things.

This is a perfect and chilling example of what's wrong with liberal progressivism

Students in England are rioting and threatening the lives of Royals because the government is raising tuition rates. When a people are used to having everything paid for by the government and then the government realizes it can't sustain these programs financially and tries to cut back (or raise tuition) people riot. Once you give someone a handout they won't let you stop without a fight It doesn't matter that the money ran out and this or that just can't continue. People will still riot. These are not thinking people, just feeling people.

Camilla and Charles made a wrong turn in their armored Rolls Royce and found themselves in the middle of a mass of rioting students who then started to beat on their car while shouting "Off with their heads!" and succeeded in cracking a window which I understand is really hard to do.

Entitlement

"Receiving with no opportunity to reciprocate corrodes the soul." --Rabbi Daniel Lapin. This is what's wrong with Big Government and Progressivism and why God finds it so offensive. Rabbi Lapin also said that the word "entitlement" is the worst government word ever invented.

A Hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains and something strange.

This is an amazing lookout platform with a fantastic view. We are not that far from Lookout Mountain.
Pa. One of the few pictures I could get of him.
The view.
I don't know what to make of this but couldn't miss taking a picture of it. Who is old enough to carve this and yet still that enamored with his mother?? I'll bet it was a merry prank.

Recent Trip to Utath

Kaylee, as Lady GaGa took off before I remembered to get a picture. I'll have to make up for that over Thanksgiving. But here are Justin and Ian as Mario and Luigi. Caden is behind the scary mask. Justin didn't get to go trick or treating because he started throwing up about 5 minutes after this picture was taken due to the flu. Then Ian followed suit about 8 hours later.
GiGi
Kyle, Joe, and JoJo watching sports on TV
Dad and I after church Oct. 31, 2010.
Mom and Dad same day.
Mom and I (with crooked smile?) Good visit but always seems too short for all the stuff I try to get crammed in.

Obama's version of the Declaration of Independence

A total of 4 times now Pres. Obama, while quoting from the Declaration of Independence, has left out the words "by their creator". It is supposed to read, "endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights."

I believe this is very telling and significant.

Progressives believe the government gives people rights and those rights evolve and progress. Therefore Pres. Obama believes that he and/or the government is free to change our rights as THEY see fit. Progressives think they are smarter than the Founders inspired by God.

My girl's beautiful eyes and impressive back legs!

This is 8 year old Penny who put herself in her crate because she heard thunder. Those back legs are impressive, aren't they. She makes up for it with her eyes. The hot spot on her front paw isn't very attractive, though. Actually, her crate is her favorite place unless my lap is available.

Don't believe Obama is a socialist? Listen to their own words.

PLEASE watch this. We've already lost so many of the freedoms God inspired the Founders to protect in the Constitution.

Redistribution of wealth is socialism. The new health care bill is socialism. All this over-regulation is socialism. The government take-over of all students loans is socialism. We must understand Progressivism and why it's such a danger to the American Dream, our liberty, and the Constitution. What seems like the government caring about all of us is really enslavement. People are happiest when they have the most control over their destiny and if we don't wake up Americans will end up with very little left.

Pictures from Art and Bonnie's 60 Wedding Anniversary Weekend

Bev, Natalie, and Lee
Natalie and her husband, David
Evan, Bonnie, Ruth, and Helen.

See more pics in the blog below. Sorry. Had trouble and it's a 2-parter. We had a great time with relatives we hadn't seen in around 20 years. Evan and Beverly Terry and their children Bonnie and Natalie and Nat's husband, David. (I think it was David) John and his wife and kids ran off before I got to my camera.

More pics

For some reason "it" wouldn't let me add any more pictures when I wasn't done. Hence the 2 parts.

Lee showing Bonnie how to do some back stretching movements.
There's a trouble maker back there somewhere. Dear "sweet" Aunt Helen with her fingers in a box of candy.

Progress

"We all want progress. But progress means getting nearer to the place where you want to be. And if you have taken a wrong turning, then to go forward does not get you any nearer. If you are on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; and in that case the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive man." ~ C.S. Lewis

Restoring Honor Pics

"It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible."
George Washington

It was so wonderful to be a part of something that represents the best of America. God, family, country-that's what the whole day was about.
