Students in England are rioting and threatening the lives of Royals because the government is raising tuition rates. When a people are used to having everything paid for by the government and then the government realizes it can't sustain these programs financially and tries to cut back (or raise tuition) people riot. Once you give someone a handout they won't let you stop without a fight It doesn't matter that the money ran out and this or that just can't continue. People will still riot. These are not thinking people, just feeling people.
Camilla and Charles made a wrong turn in their armored Rolls Royce and found themselves in the middle of a mass of rioting students who then started to beat on their car while shouting "Off with their heads!" and succeeded in cracking a window which I understand is really hard to do.
